Rachel Schall THE STUDENTS AT GATE OF HEAVEN are planning a door-deco- rating contest. The members of each homeroom are responsible for giving a holiday touch to their classroom door. Judging will be based on three catagories: creativ- ity, appearance and theme. The primary, middle section and upper grades will be separately judged. -0- MR. SIMON’S EIGHTH GRADE SCIENCE CLASS took a field trip to the planetarium in Tunkhannock. The students learned about various astronomers and viewed constella- tions and planets. Afterward, the students had a quiz on the material taught. It was a very pleasant and educational day. 0: SPONSORED BY THE PTG, a gourmet basket is being chanced off ‘at Gate of Heaven. During the basketball season; the dates, teams and scores will be posted in Club honors Tracy Heydt Wyoming Seminary Senior Tracy Heydt, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Stuart Heydt, Shavertown, was selected as the November Student of the Month for the Kingston-Forty Fort Lions’ Club. An active participant in the school’s athletic program, Miss Heydt was a four year member of the girls’ field hockey team and was the starting goalie in her senior year. She was also a member of the girls’ swim team, is manager of the Boys’ tennis team and was secre- tary of the ‘“W’’ Club in her junior year. Miss Heydt’s other school activi- ties include, photography editor of the yearbook, cast member in the school’s production of ‘‘Guys and Dolls” and participant in the ACIS European study trip in 1984.
