Thanksgiving has always been
one of the most wonderful holidays.
A day to spend with family and
friends, taking time to appreciate
all our blessings. Thanksgiving is
always declicious, overloaded with
turkey, dressing, sweet potatoes and
pumpkin pie. After dinner, watching
football games is the order of the
day for many.
In observance of the Thanksgiving
holiday, members of the staff of The
Dallas Post are sharing some of our
favorite holiday recipes with our
readers. Included are recipes for
Pineapple Sheet Cake, Southern
Pecan Pie, Magic Cookie Bars,
Pineapple Cheese Mold, Corn
Bread-Oyster Dressing, Shrimp Log
and Cauliflower-Broccoli Salad.
It is our sincere hope that all our
readers receive continued blessings
through the year. From all of us at
The Post — Happy Thanksgiving.
