The North End Catholic girls’
basketball team defeated Gate of
Heaven, Dallas, 32-25, Sunday after-
noon to win the championship of the
First Parent-Teacher Guild Invita-
tional Basketball Tournament held
at Gate of Heaven School.
The winners were led by Robin
Klem who scored 16 points while
Pam Frostbutter dumped in 13
points for Gate of Heaven in the
~ losing effort.
In the consolation game held
Sunday afternoon, St. Joseph’s,
Hudson, defeated St. Nick’s/St.
Mary’s for third place.
Gate of Heaven defeated St.
Joseph’s, 35-24, in the first round on
Saturday behind the scoring of Pam
Frostbutter and Jean Stahovec.
Frostbutter pumped in 19 points
while Stahovec added 12 in the
victory.
“Ann Marie Wincek was high
scorer for St. Joseph's with 10
~ points.
Also in first round action, North

blood donors for a blood drive set
for Wednesday, Feb. 22.
The drive, sponsored by the Back
Mountain Blood Council and the Red
Cross Blood Services, is geared to
awarded trophies at the conclusion
of the tournament by Mrs. Nedda
Cashore, president, Gate of Heaven
Parent-Teacher Guild; and Mr.
Sholtis, treasurer.

uled for Feb. 22 from 1 to 6 p.m. at

AN. ORDINANCE OF THE
TOWNSHIP OF KINGSTON, LUZ-
ERNE COUNTY, PENNSYL-
VANIA, AUTHORIZING THE USE
OF - MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL
AND ELECTRONIC MOTOR
VEHICLE SPEED TIMING
DEVICES
WHEREAS, the Pennsylvania
Motor Vehicle Code provides that
all action taken by local authori-
ties shall be by ordinance of the
municipality; and
WHEREAS, the TOWNSHIP OF
KINGSTON desires to use certain
approved speed timing devices
to assist in the enforcement of
the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle
Code, as well as Township ordi-
nances with respect to the
operation of motor vehicles
© THEREFORE, be it ordained
and enacted, pursuant to ‘THE
SECOND CLASS TOWNSHIP
CODE’ as prepared in accord-
ance with THE HOME RULE
CHARTER AND OPTIONAL
PLANS LAW, ACT 62 of 1972 OF
THE COMMONWEALTH OF
PENNSYLVANIA, effective Janu-
ary 1st, 1976, that
