Among the special interest group activities for the month, a pot luck luncheon will be held on Oct. 12 from noon to 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Shavertown. “Quilted Star in a wooden hoop” will be the next project of the craft group which meets on Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m. Cavorting has planned an Oktoberfest on Oct. 15 at Terry Tower’s home.
