We lo welcome all our neighbors from 2 throughout the Wyoming Valley who © travel the Back Mountain to come to the lo fair. Fall Fair is truly an event which reaches far and wide across the County. And Back Mountain is proud to host the thousands of guests who pour in daily during fair week. Whether you come for the food, the entertainment, the compe- tition or the exhibits, you will find the best of the Back Mountain represented in every aspect of the fair. Take note of your surroundings and feel free to come back at any time. Eat in our restaurants, shop our specialty stores, drive through our country roads and enjoy our cultural offerings. Many of you are already familiar with what we have here, and to you, we say ‘Glad to have you back.” But, for those who may be visiting for the first time, we say ‘Welcome to our fair, and welcome to the Back Mountain.’ 00000000000000000000000000000000000000000¢ The Dallas Area Fall Fair Association was organized and chartered by the Dallas Rotary Club in 1969. The Association has expanded over the years and is currently comprised of the following 12 service clubs: Dallas Rotary Club, Dallas Rotary Anns, Back Mountain Jaycees, Back Mountain Jay-C-ettes, Dallas Kiwanis, Dallas Women of Kiwanis, Kingston Township Lions Club, Dallas Lions Club, Dallas Lioness Club, Lake Silkwortth Lions Club, Back Mountain Kiwanis Club and the Dallas Area Federated Women. The Association totally finances the operation of the Back Mountain Mobile Intensive Care Unit and assists with the President Vice-President . Treasurer Secretary Asst. Funds for these projects are derived solely from the Annual Luzerne County Fair. The Medical Center was built on land donated to the Association by the late Joseph Park. The Mobile Intensive Care Unit’s operation is based at the Medical Center. An additional 26 acres of land was pur- chased in 1980 where the Luzerne Comnty Fall Fair is presently held.
