And rascals indeed abound in the present pro- duction at the Music Box, “Guys and Dolls.” The main characters, transferred to the stage from the beloved stories of Damon Runyon, are the crap-shooters, horseplay- ers, tinhorn gamblers and their faithful ‘‘dolls” who frequent New York’s Times Square. No. 1 won their first game of the season by beating Varsity Sod by an 8-4 score. Win- ning piteher was Brian Powell as James Ontko got the save with a good relief performance. Jack is the former All-American from Pittsburgh U, and a great defensive end for the Washington Redskins.
