vania American Legion's
Annual High School
Oratorical and Essay
Contest in the school and
the district finals, but was

Christine was awarded
a $50 savings bond and a
given a check for $25 from
the American Legion in
Swoyersville.
Christine recited a 10
minute, self-written,
memorized speech on the
Fifth Amendment.
Christine was judged on
the originality and con-
tent of the speech, voice
quality, style and body
actions. The contest was
open to all high school
students, Grades 9
through 12.

Adamchick. Kuzma is the
son of the late Mr. and
Mrs. Joseph Kuzma of
Swoyersville.
The Kuzmas are. the
parents of a daughter,
Mrs. Rosalie Rogers,
Cruigsbury. They also
have three grand-
daughters.
Mr. Kuzma is retired
from the American Chain
and Cable Co., Wilkes-
Barre. Mrs. Kuzma is
associated with the
United Pants Company,
Swoyersville.
