She is the 1982 recipient
of the Janice Baker
Memorial Award, which
is presented annually to
the outstanding female
vocalist at Mansfield

studied with Charles
Bressler and Gary Magby .

Cynthia is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. James
Steinkirchner of 20 Burn-
dale Road, Dallas.

in the Back Mountain Jay-
C-ettes’ fashion show. The
show, ‘‘Patterns of
Autumn’ will take place

evening, 7:30 p.m. at the
Irem Temple Country

charged with homocide by
motor vehicle, failure to
drive at a safe speed and
meeting of vehicles
proceeding in the opposite
direction. Charges were
filed with District Justice
Marion Robinson of
Beaumont by State Police
Trooper Daniel Kocher.
Geiger was killed in the
accident.
Friends of Mrs. Cathy
Wisniewski of Lower
Demunds Road will be
glad to learn she came
home on Friday from
Wilkes-Barre General
Hospital where she un-
derwent “surgery. Her
condition is much im-
proved.
Mrs. Marian Brace, of
Orange, remains a patient
at Wilkes-Barre General
Hospital where she is
recovering from injuries
received in a fall at home.
Mrs. Jean Hronich of
Mount Zion was a medical
patient in Wilkes-Barre
General Hospital at
presstime.
Nice to report that Mrs.
Marilyn Reese of Orange
is home after a stay in
Nesbitt Memorial
Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald
Gross, III, of Mount Zion,
are rejoicing over the
birth of a daughter, Katie
Marie, Thursday, in
Wilkes-Barre General
Hospital. They also have
another daughter,
Jessica, three and one-
half years young. Mrs.
Gross is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas
Muldowney of Kingston,
who now have 10 grand-
children.
Mr. Gross is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Donald
Gross, Jr., of Mount Zion.
Katie Marie is the fourth
grandchild for Don’s
parents. Probably the
happiest person in the
Gross family over the new
arrival is Donald Gross,
Sr. of Wyoming, the great
grandfather.
