G8 LK R tone / EE EEE NEES EEN EEE EEE. Fire destroyed a home and business in Jackson Township last week requiring the resources of six Back Mountain companies to contain. Alan and Nancy Dukes lost their home in the blaze which started in the garage, under the struc- ture, Alan’s place of business. Dukes is a well known mechanic who specializes in Mercedes Benz. Two antique Mercedes were destroyed in the fire, along with an inestimable amount of equipment for the business. Trucksville Fire Chief Joseph Bren explained the fire started at about 11:50 a.m., Tuesday, July 6. A gas tank caught fire as it was being dropped from an automobile. A spark ignited the dripping gasoline in the garage, causing the holocaust. Wind and 10 - 55 gallon drums of waste situated in and around the garage added to the woes of firemen who respon- ded. Two firefighters from Trucksville were treated for smoke inhalation. Ray * X =n Associated With Dr. David Moore David H. Moore, M.D. is pleased to announce the association of Paul E. He received o Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Wilkes College where he graduated with honors. He was awarded his degree ‘in Medicine from Hershey Medical School, the Penn- sylvania State University. Following graduation, he com- pleted a three year residency in Internal Medicine at Geis- inger Medical Center, Dan- ville, PA. He recently com- pleted a two year fellowship in Gastroenterology at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. There he received extensive training in clinical gastroenterology and fiberop- tic endoscopy including en- doscopic surgery. Dr. Niezgoda has received certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, and Luzerne County Medical Society. : He resides with his wife Claudia in Wyoming. They are expecting their first child in July.
