PAGE EIGHT 1 om Helen Crispell 52-year resident of Noxen Twp. Mrs. Helen W. Crispell, 69, of RD 1, Noxen, died Saturday, Aug. 16, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital following an illness. She was born Feb. 15, 1911, in Buffalo, N.Y., a daughter of the late James and Blanche Spear Lambersons She attended schools in the Buffalo area. She had been a resident of Noxen for the last 52 years. She and her husband, Claude L. Crispell, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1978. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Noxen. Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Dorrance Kocher, Lake Township; sons, E. Lyle, Kendall, N.Y.; Robert J., Noxen; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Funeral was Tuesday, Aug. 19, from the Harold C. Snowden Funeral Home, 140 N. Main St., Shavertown. The Rev. Donald R. Sperling, pastor of First United Methodist Church, Noxen, and the Rev. Gregory L. Crispell, grand- son of the deceased and pastor of First United Methodist, Batavia, N.Y., officiated. He received his training in theology at Cedarville College in Cedarville, Ohio and at the Dallas Theological Seminary.
