The Grenadiers took the Knights 102-48 and the Argents defeated Lake- In the meet with GAR, the Knights Tom Sayre won the 110 meter her- dles, Ron Swire came in third in the 100 meter dash and M. Wendel placed second in the second 1600 meter run. Ray Hillman came in second in the 400 meter dash and Sayre placed second in the 300 meter hurdles. Todd Cragle took third in the 800 meter run and Rocky Bonomo tied with Gola of GAR for second in the 200 meter dash. In the 3200 meter run J. Wendel took first and K Cundiff came in second. Boltz took third in the shot put and Wayne DeCesaris copped the triple jump. DeCesaris also placed third in the long jump. Bonomo took the pole vault with D. Walsh coming in third. Ed Lozo took first in the javelin throw. Ed Par- sons took second and Dan Haaefele third. In the meet with Bishop Hoban, the Knights took the 3200 meter run. Sayre won the 110 meter her- dles. To help celebrate the «25th anniversary of the first offering of associate degrees programs at Penn State-Wilkes-Barre, the campus is inviting graduates of the classes of 1955 through 1964 to attend this year’s graduation Dallas Township P.T.O. president Mrs. Gerald Ogurkis announced that the Dallas Township P.T.O. will sponsor a puppet show for the children at the Dallas Township Elementary school on May 21. The puppet show will be given by Luft Studio’s of Wernersville, Pa., and will consist of two presentations. The first show is entitled ‘‘The Safety Show” and features Reddy Red Light, a friendly traffic officer, illustrating safety for youngsters on bicycles and roller skates and safety in water, street traffic, fire prevention jects. PTG to elect new officers The monthy meeting of the Gate of Heaven Parent Teacher Guild is scheduled for Wednesday, May 21, at 8 p.m. in the school auditorium. At that ‘time the nominating committee chaired by Betty Dowd will present the names of the candidates for office in the Guild for the 1980-81 school year. Present officers are Mary Ann Thompson, president; Flynn, 1st vice president; Mike Williams, 2nd vice president; Joseph Hayer, treasurer; and Marilyn Pavlovec, secretary. Rev. William F. Cusick is moderator of the Guild. Sr. M. Leonita, RSM, is principal of the school. Following the business meeting, the Gate of Heaven gymnastics team will present an exhibition of their skills.
