Lake-Lehman’s girls basketball team ended the first half with a 32-22 win over West Side Tech, Friday afternoon, on the Tech court. The Knights Jackie Williams paced the team to their first win of the season with 13 points. Annette Kowalski added 11 points to aid in the scoring. The local girls jumped out to an early 6-2 lead in the first quarter and led 17-14 at the half. In the second half the Lady Knights came out strong to outscore the Titan girls 10-4 in the third quarter and 5-4 in the final period to take the contest. Neither team were strong on the foul line with the Lake-Lehman girls dumping in only six and the Titans scoring none.
