May I help you?” when they called Help Line in November. The 24-hour information and referral service received ov er 1,000 calls for the ninth month in a row. Three hundred thirty two of those callers requested information; another 485 were referred to area agencies. Counselling was November’s = most requested service, (539 calls). One hundred fourteen callers were concerned with emergency needs; 79 of those wanted information on fuel programs. Of 96 calls concerning health care, 15 requested venereal disease in- formation. Some other concern were treatment, diet control and handicapped ser- vices. Over 20 callers asked about self-help groups as Parents Anonymous, Singles Clubs and Neurotics Anonymous. Most November Help Line calls came from Wilkes-Barre with 367. next most frequent were West Side calls with a total of 173.
