Smith, 81, of RD 3, Dallas, died June 21 in Nesbitt Memorial Hospital, Kingston. Born in McCormick, I1l., Sept. 10, 1897, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Louisa Barger Smith. He had resided in Dallas for the past six years. He was employed as a master mechanic by Carey, Baxter and Kennedy Mining Com- pany, Courtdale.
