J - Gawlas awarded Safe Driving awlas to Daniel Jones, five Lehman teacher ° ° biking Ed Ladamus, a reading specialists for the Lake- Lehman School District, will be pedaling from the shores of Lake Erie to the banks of the Delaware River in Philadelphia as a participant in the 4th Annual Pennsylvania State College and University (PSCU) Trans-Pennsyl- vania Bike Tour. The tour gets underway at Erie on June 19 and the bikers will visit six PSCU campuses before arriving in Philadelphia on July 3. With one or two unavoidable exceptions, they will cross the state on lightly travelled secondary roads. Ladamus will be among more than a dozen riders undertaking the 570 mile trans-state ride and par- ticipated in a portion of the 1977 tour. In addition to teaching and bike riding, Ladamus has helped with the coaching chores for the Lehman wrestling team, but now is more familiar to local sports fans for his officiating at wrestling meets. The trans-state bike ride is. sponsored by the Association of Penn- University Faculties (APSCUF), the union that represents the faculty at the PSCU campuses. The Regional Center provides family, group, and in- dividual counseling throughout Kingston, Forty Fort, Larksville, and the Back Mountain.
