Methodist Church of Beach Haven, N.J. was the setting for the recent marriage of Kathleen Jane Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Anderson, 204 Clearview Ave., Trucksville Gardens, and Kenneth A. Roma, son of Alfred Roma, 126 Quadrant Rd., Manahaukin, N.J., and Mrs. Roberta Holden, 525 Center St., Beach Haven, N.J. The Rev. J. Hillman Coffee performed the double ring ceremony. The bride escorted by her father, wore a princess line gown of polyester Mexican rope design trimmed in lace which was -made by Mrs. Deborah Massimano, the bride’s sister. Her two-tiered veil fell from a Juliet head- piece. She carried a bouquet of yellow and white daisies and baby’s breath. Mrs. Herbert Schoen- berg, sister of the bride, was the Matron of Honor. She wore a dusty peach sleeveless floor-length gown gathered at the waist and carried a single rose. The three bridesmaids PERU BOUND-Cindy On- cay. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward E. Oncay, Leh- man.isemployedin Jewelcor Travel Depart- ment. She will leave for Peru in September as a representative of the com- pany. Cindy, who celebrated her 21st bir- thday June 5, is the grand- daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Oncay and Mrs. Florence Davenport. were Mrs. Deborah Massimiano, Miss Kammy Roma and Miss Annette Kintner. Each bridesmaid wore a dusty rose sleeveless floor-length gown and carried a single rose. William Wasilewski was the best man. The ushers were Mr. Robert Schmidt, Mr. Robert Anderson, brother of the bride, and Mr. Herbert Schoenberg. Immediately following the ceremony a reception was held at the Port O Call, Beach Haven. The bride was feted at a variety shower at the home of her matron of honor. Mrs. Roma is a graduate of Dallas Senior High School and attended Penn State University. She is presently working at the Village Pub, Beach Haven, N.J. The groom is a graduate of Southern Regional High School. He is employed by John Larson and is presently the captain of the Lori-L, a tile fishing boat, out of Barnegat Light, N.J. The couple spent their wedding trip in Florida and now reside in Beach Haven. Mr. and Mrs. Maleolm Nelson of Kunkle, R.D. Harvey's Lake will celebrate their 45 wedding anniversary on June 15. They were married at Wyoming with the Rev. iating. _ Mrs. Nelson is the for- mer Aretta Gebler and was the third generation to be married by Rev. Von Krug. Mrs. Nelson has always been active in the civil affairs at Harvey's Lake. She is past president of the Daniel C. Roberts Fire Co. The study shall be directed at determining what may be done by school officals and parents to improve and strengthen, the standards of values now used, especially as they relate to personal freedom and responsibility in a republic insurance based upon enterprise. The object of the study is to make recommendations that may be considered by local school officials, parents and the general public, and state officials in dealing with the im- provement of values that should be implicit in the public schools.
