3 Carole Kwasnik, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kwasnik of Dallas, she is enrolled in the academic course. 1980, she hopes to attend Arizona state to study lab technology. Carole has two older University of Pittsburgh; and Barbara, married and living in Arizona. Although she is not a native of the Back Mountain, Carole enjoys this area a great deal. She moved to the area with her parents and sisters from New Jersey eight years ago. Active in school life, Carole is a varsity strutter. She has been a member of the basketball and softball team for the past two ~ years. This year she was junior class treasurer, member of the student council and also a member of the junior steering committee. Carole also played field basketball she plays guard and in softball, Carole plays in the outfield. This year she has been selected as a student volunteer for the United Way and is eagerly looking forward to working with some of the agencies this summer. When not involved in y. ToT i school aectivities, Carole listens to a lot of music from classical to the latest disco. She loves the seashore and usually gets there three or four times each season. Carole also likes down hill skiing during the winter. Carole is a member of Rainbow. She enjoys being with children and teaching them. Carole spends a lot of time with the children in her neighborhood. She likes sports and plays some tennis. She likes swimming and although she prefers the ‘ocean also likes pool swimming, Carole believes Dallas is distinctive because the teachers help the students a lot and believes that Dallas has some of the best teachers. She finds the school very well organized and says that school func- tions are run well. “The students get along well,” she said ‘“‘and this year there was excellent school spirit. The pep rallies improved a lot.” However, Carole believes that the classes at Dallas High School should mingle more and students should get to know each person. She advises all of the students to work to make next year’s senior year better than ever. This summer she hopes to find a job, serve as a volunteer and just relax. PLYMOUTH, PA. In the Post Spotlight this week, Levi has two sisters, one, Mary Anne is older, married and living in Wyoming Valley; Debbie is younger and is a fourth grade student at Lehman- Jackson Elementary School. Levi has been active in track for the past three years running the mile and two-mile events. He has also been a member of the school’s cross-country team for the past two years. He lettered in both sports each year that he participated. Vice president of the senior class, Levi oc- casionally is named to the high school honors list. Levi is a member of the Key Club, Varsity Club and the Ski Club. He was among this year’s graduates who went on the class trip to ‘Washington. Modest about his many activities during the school year, Levi's popularity among the other students is evident by the way he is greeted by the others in the school, students and faculty members. When he has time, Levi enjoys down hill skiing and running in marathons. He also likes camping and hiking. Levi goes fresh water fishing and goes hunting for small game or deer. This past season he shot a nine-point buck, his first one. Levi works part time at Chase Nursery. Following graduation work during the summer then attend Penn State’s Wilkes-Barre Campus in the fall where he hopes to earn an associate degree in electrical engineering. Levi believes that there is more school spirit at Lake-Lehman than at most large schools. He also said the students and faculty seem to be closer to one another than in larger high schools. He would like to see more activities for the students and perhaps a student lounge, and more freedom overall for seniors. Plymouth Class of ’59 plans reunion Plymouth High School class of 1959, will meet Monday, June 18, at 8 p.m. in Fabians Restaurant, Plymouth, to further plans for their 20th Class reunion. Reunion will be held Friday, Nov. 23, at the Carriage Stop Inn, Wilkes Barre. ‘Trinity Nursery seeks fall students Trinity Nursery School is ‘accepting registration for the fall semester.
