Yozviak, 19 Westminster Drive, Dallas, observed their Golden Wedding Anniversary last Sunday. They were married April 29, 1929 by the Rev. J. J. McGuckin. * Mrs. Yozviak, the former Marie McGroarty, is the daughter of the late John and Anna McGroarty of Luzerne. Yozviak is the son of the late John and Mary Yozviak of Lee Park. Yozviak was a teacher, principal and superin- tendent of schools for 37 years. He taught mathematics at King’s College and retired in 1974 after serving 10 years as associate professor of education at. College Misericordia, Dallas. He is a past president of the Hanover Twp. Lions Club and holds a life membership. Mrs. Yozviak is an active member of the Mercy Hospital Auxiliary, The couple has four children: Mrs. William Borton (Marie), Harveys Lake, a teacher in the Lake-Lehman School District; Donald, Oakton, Va., employed by the Federal Government; Mrs. Joseph Shavertown, a teacher in Michael Jr., Hanover Twp. owner and operator of Chick’s Garage, Askam, Pa. They have nine grand- children: Kathy, Eileen and Marie Borton, Harveys Lake; David Yozviak, Annandale, Va.; Colleen Yozviak, Vienna, Va.; Lynn, Chip and Michael Mr. and Mrs. Patrick J. McGough, Jr. of Summit Avenue, Fernbrook, will observe their 28th wedding anniversary on Saturday. They were married in Puritan Congregational Church; Wilkes-Barre, on May 5, 1951, by the late pastor, Rev. James G. Evans. Mrs. MeGough is the former Miss Audrey Johns, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph E. Johns of Wilkes-Barre. Prior to her marriage, he was a dental assistant for the late James, serving with the United States Navy at Willow Grove, Pa.; Jayne Ann, a junior at College Misericordia, Dallas, where she is pursuing studies for a bachelor of science degree in business administration; June Ellen, a senior at Dallas Area High School, and Kevin, a sophomore at West Side Vocational Technical School.
