Homes entered in the contest must be located within the boundaries of Dallas, Kingston, Lake, Lehman, Jackson and Franklin townships or within the boroughs of Harveys Lake and Dallas. Only homes are eligible for: entry. Commercial establishments or structures which are primarily or significantly commercial in nature will be eligible for certificates of honorable mention. 2. Entries may be submitted by the resident of the entered home or on nomination by passers-by or neighbors. In any event, the prize-winner will be the occupant of the home responsible for the decoration. be eligible for the prizes offered. No duplicate prizes will be awarded and the decisions of the judges is final. 4. No purchase is necessary for participation in the contest. Entries must include the first ond last nome of heme owners, address and directions if necessary to the location of entered home, phone number of home! owner, title or theme of display if designated and hours when display is to be lighted if it is a lighted display. 5. Entries are welcome in either of two divisions, lighted and unlighted displays, and both divisions are eligible for the grand prize. The grand prize winner will not be eligible for the division prize of the division i in which his or her home was entered. 6. Independent judges will be arranged by the Dallas Post and empioyees and their families of the Dallas Post and Pennaprint Inc. are not eligible for prizes in the contest. Winners will be selected based on originality, overall effect, appeal and pertinence to the holiday theme. Judge's decisions will be annouced in the Dallas Post's Christmas issve. ' : i 7. The location of entries will be published to permit public viewing of the decorations. 3 8, Grand prize will be a $50 U.S. Savings Bond. Each division winner will receive a $25 U.S. Savings Bond.
