His sermon topics on Monday through Friday nights will en- compass the subject of “Knowing and Doing the Will of God”. Rev. Hoover has been a minister for over 20 years, serving churches in New Jersey, New England and New York as both a pastor and a district superin- tendent. Having traveled previously in the lands of the Bible, Rev. Hoover will be co.hosting a tour later this month which will follow the journey of St. Paul in Asia Minor and the footsteps of Jesus in the Holy Land. GEORGE LONDON Mrs. George London, 54, of 16901 SW 302 Terrace, Homestead, Fla., died March 28 in Baptist Hospital, South Miami, Fla. The former Lois Heistman, she was born in Centermoreland, Nov. 27, 1923, daughter of Mrs. Viola Heistman, Holm- stead. Mrs. graduated from Dallas High School and was employed as a teacher’s aide in Dade County Schools. Prior to moving to Homestead 26 years ago, she owned and operated a beauty salon in Dallas. She was a member of First Methodist Church at Homestead. : Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband; daughters. May, 78, of Country Club Road, Dallas, died Sunday in Nesbitt Memorial Hospital. The former Ann Grall, she was born Dec. 17, 1899, in Wilkes-Barre, was a 1916 graduate of Wilkes-Barre High School and attended Columbia University, New York City. She formerly was employed as personriel director by Duplan Cor- poration, formerly - of Kingston. Mrs. May was a past president of the Quota Club, Wilkes-Barre, and a charter member and past president of Serve-Your- City Club. She formerly resided in Manheim before moving to Harrisburg in 1950 where she had been employed as a social worker by Family and Children’s Society of Harrisburg. She moved to Dallas in 1977. She was a board member of American Cancer Society of Dauphin County and a past officer of American Red Cross. Mrs. May moved to Dallas last August. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Dauphin. Surviving besides her husband are sisters, Mrs. Cedric Griffiths, Wer- nersville; Miss Marie M. Grall, Harveys Lake; brother, Frederick Grall, Wilkes-Barre. Mrs. Rena Rothschild, chairman of the 1978 Back Mountain Memorial Library Auction, recently announced that Jay Borton and Harold “Sonny’’ Smith will serve as her co-chairmen for this year’s auction. Mrs. Rothschild, this year’s chairman, is a newcomer to the area but in a short time has succumbed to auction fever. Rena is married to John Rothschild, M.D. They live in Dallas with their two daughters, Sarah and Rebecca. She did her undergraduate work at Cornell University and has an M.B.A. from Columbia University. - Rena is employed as administrative director of Rural Health Corporation of Northeast Pennsylvania. Her two cochairmen, are long time residents of the Back Mountain. Borton, a versatile young man from Shavertown, and . proprietor of J.B.
