The Lehman-Jackson Elementary School in Leh- man, will sponsor a student book fair from Nov. 11 to Nov. 17. Students will be able to browse and pur- chase books. The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. John Casey, pastor of the NBVM. The altar was decorated with large white chrysanthemums and pompons. Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a traditionally styled wedding gown of Salalustre organza and imported Venise lace. Beaded Venise lace trimmed the bodice and long sleeves of her gown which featured a high neckline over a sheer yoke, an untrimmed empire-easy chapel-length train. To compliment her wedding gown the bride chose a walking-length Spanish Mantilla in illusion edged in imported Venise lace and attached to a Camelot frame. She carried a white satin and lace covered Bible with a white orchid, stephanotis and ivy. Miss Catherine Mitchell, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. She was attired in an elegant green Featuring a slant-V neckline, long fitted sleeves and a self-belt at the slightly lifted waistline which swagged off the hip. To complement her gown, she chose a horsehair picture hat trimmed with matching knit covering both crown and streamers. Miss Linda Mitchell, bridesmaid, sister of the bride, wore a long sleeve spice gown of polyester knit. Self gathers of knit high-lighted the Queen Ann neckline of her criss-cross bodice. Her gown also featured long fitted sleeves and an empire-easy skirt. wore a horsehair picture hat trimmed with matching knit covering both crown and streamers. The maid of honor and bridesmaid carried baroque styled classic round bouquets of green and bronze pompons with baby breath and fall oak leaves. Mother of the bride, wore a long sleeve light tan gown of polyester knit, featuring an empire bodice with a V-neckline. Slight gathers at the midriff gently into an easy skirt. The front of the bodice and cuffs of her long fitted sleeves were accented with gold bead and pearl trimmed the wrist-cuff of the outer tier of the double sleeve. She wore a corsage of white cymbidium or- chids. Mother of the groom wore a gown of blue polyester pique knit and sheer sleeves of her Em- pire bodice gathered at the wrist with self-ruffled cuffs. Her gown featured a jewel neckline with a keyhole cut-out at the yoke and an empire easy skirt. She wore a corsage of white symbidium orchids. Gary Vetter, nephew of the groom, was best man. Ivan Pallman was usher. Following the double ring ceremony, a reception was held at Shadow Brook Inn. Following the reception the couple left on a wed- ding trip to Florida. Both the bride and the groom are employed by the Wilkes-Barre Publishing Company. They will reside in Dallas. The Dallas Mothers Club will conduct a hoagie sale, Nov. 11 and 12. Tunas and meat hoagies will be sold for one dollar each.
