The class is open to grades. The Idetown Choir will resume its regular rehearsal schedule Thursday at 7 p.m. Developing the theme, “Christ for the World,” as found in Matthew 28:18-20, the Dallas Community Church will be sponsoring a five-day missionary conference, Wednesday through Sunday, Nov. 2-6. Bloomingdale church plans auction * Bloomingdale United Methodist Church will hold an auction at the church, Saturday, Nov. 5 starting at 6:30 p.m. Refreshments including a turkey platter will be served from 4:30 p.m. New and used items will be sold over the auction block. Government in Dallas Township The Idetown Ad- ministrative Board will meet Thursday, Nov. 3 to discuss visitation evangelism and the 1978 budget among other matters. The Lehman Ad- ministrative Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 7. The Lehman Friendship Class will serve refresh- ments at the polls in the Middle District on Election Day. Dallas UM Women see Africa slides Mrs. Thomas E. Trost, field representative for cultivation of the board of global ministries of the United Methodist Church, will be the guest speaker at the meeting of the Dallas UM Women, Monday, Nov. 7 at 7:30 p.m. Mrs. Trost will speak on ‘her trip to Africa, and present a slide show. All United Methodists of the cluster are invited to attend. Mrs. Thomas E. Cease will preside. A fellowship tea will be held following the program, with ~ Mrs. ‘Raymond Cooner in charge. Prince of Peace Women to bake pasties Nov. 8 Women of Prince of Peace Church, Dallas, will bake pasties on election day, Tuesday, Nov. 8.
