The first Back Mountain Horse Show was a huge success with 260 entries in 28 classes. The large turn- out of exhibitors was far greater than the spon- soring Jaycees anticipated for a first year show. Competition was keen in all divisions with entrants from Moscow, Clarks Summit, Mountaintop, Sugarloaf, . Bloomsburg, and manners, appreciated the support of local horsemen and class sponsors with special thanks to Arthur Shelley, Association, Bryant’s Mobile Homes, Highland Acres” Equestrian Center and Yalick Brothers for their assistance in making the show a success.
