ae - . A short in an electric alarm clock was listed as the probable cause of a fire which destroyed the mobile home of the Phillip Culver family in Vernon last Wednesday night. The fire was discovered by the Culver’s 12-year-old son Michael Wheaton who was home alone with his two-year-old sister at the inaccessibility due to a ditch at one end of the home. The ditch made it difficult for firemen to get close to the structure at that end. An appeal is being issued to the public for their assistance in a fund drive Franklin Townships area.
