Centermoreland United Methodist Church was filled to capacity for the morning worship service Sunday morning when Girl Scout Sunday was observed. Members of Senior and Cadette Troop 500; Junior Troop 273, and Brownie Troop 436, all of Centermoreland, participated in the service, dressed in official girl scout uniforms. A procession from the Sunday School rooms into the church opened the service, at which girl scouts were accorded a special place of honor for the service. Service was opened with the call to worship by Ann Marie Wheaton; psalter reading by Andrea Paltrineri; reading of the gospel by Georgia Phillips. Ushers were Elizabeth Boyes, Kim Montross, Cub Pack blue-gold Cub Scout Pack 155 of Trucksville held its annual Blue and Gold banquet on Feb. 18th at the Trucksville Methodist Church. Guests of honor included Rev. and Mrs. Lee E. Brehm, pastor of the church and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Kuni. Kuni, outdoors columnist writer evening presenting a film on his historic Appalachian trail hike. A catered buffet style dinner was given.
