A meeting was held
‘recently of the Dallas Band
Parents Association in the
high school. Although the
meeting was poorly’
attended, many items were
discussed.
A report was made on the
successful spaghetti
supper held on Oct. 16. All
by makers were
thanked
Also reported successful
was the candy apple sale
held at the football game on
Nov. 6th. All who helped in
this project’ were also
thanked.
Under immediate
discussion was a cookie
sale to be held prior to the
Christmas holidays. All
parents of band members
in the junior and senior
high school as well as
parents of strutters and
help out in this project.
If this is a success, the
budget of the year will
almost be realized and the
rest of the year can be a
little. more relaxing.
Parents are asked to
contact Janice Gelsleichter
at 675-3086 to offer their
assistance.
Itis hoped that sometime
in January an awards
banquet will be held to
honor the senior members
of the band, strutters and
majorettes. This was ‘a
successful event last year
and the group hopes it will
be well-attended again this
year.

Monday, Dec. 13. All
parents are asked to please
attend. It will be held at 8
