A report was made on the successful spaghetti supper held on Oct. 16. All by makers were thanked Also reported successful was the candy apple sale held at the football game on Nov. 6th. All who helped in this project’ were also thanked. Under immediate discussion was a cookie sale to be held prior to the Christmas holidays. All parents of band members in the junior and senior high school as well as parents of strutters and help out in this project. If this is a success, the budget of the year will almost be realized and the rest of the year can be a little. more relaxing. Parents are asked to contact Janice Gelsleichter at 675-3086 to offer their assistance. Itis hoped that sometime in January an awards banquet will be held to honor the senior members of the band, strutters and majorettes. This was ‘a successful event last year and the group hopes it will be well-attended again this year. The next monthly meeting will be held on Monday, Dec. 13. All parents are asked to please attend. It will be held at 8 p.m. in the senior high school. An all-day holiday workshop will be con- ducted on Saturday, Dec. 4, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Old Courthouse Annex, Extension Office, Wilkes- Bie.
