Once again the Dallas Fire and Ambulance Auxiliary is taking orders and dispersing these candles in the Dallas Area. For those unfamiliar with the display a ten hour votive candle, sand and a white bag make up each light. These lights are sold by the dozen. On Christmas eve, the lights are placed in front of each home and lit at about 6:30 p.m. Anyone driving through the streets of Dallas last year will remember the beautiful scene as 2000 dozen candles were distributed. The auxiliary said it hopes this year will be more. The profit on the sale of the candles is used by the auxiliary for equipment and the needs of the fire and ambulance association. The auxiliary members are busy at the present time contacting residents for their orders. If you have not been contacted by Nov. 15 and would like to order candles, please call Sandy Sheehan, 675-3713 or Blodwen Shaffer FRESH LEAN TIDE 49 0Z. BOX PEAS MACINTOSH OPEN SUNDAYS
