by the Dallas Junior
Women’s Club took place.
The posters depicted
Woody zowl and his plight
to “Give a Hoot Dont
Pollute” the environment
and children were to use
their talents and
imaginations freely. All the
third grades from Dallas
School System participated
with the help of the Art
Teachers Miss Karen
Casper and Mrs. Jane
Cornell.

Members of the Dallas
Junior Women’s Club are
busy planning for their
tenth annual Easter Egg
Hunt. The event is
April 10, in the Dallas
Junior High School
gymnasium from 1 to 3
p.m. The hunt is for
children from the back
mountain between the ages
of three and eight.
“Mr. ‘Bunny’ and his
clown friend will be on
hand to greet the children.
Refreshments will be
served and prizes awar-
ded. Fliers explaining the
details of the event will be
distributed to all
elementary and nursery
schools in the Back
Mountain area.
Mrs. James Horn,
chairman of the event will
be assisted by Mrs.
William Mannix.

gave the invocation. After
dinner, Patts introuced the

Scout Council and Mrs.

baseball season on
Saturday, March 13 from 1

Shavertown Fire Hall in
Shavertown. Anyone
between 8 and 12 years of
age prior to August 1 is
eligible to register for this
season.
All registrants should be
accompanied by a parent
and bring proof af age.
