Father Jarecki and the Rev. John Hunter officiated. Mrs. Nicholson is the Leow Francis Ward, Port the son of Mrs. George Mannear Nicholson, Newberry Estate, dallas, and the late George Mannear Nicholson. Escorted by her father, the bride chose a bridal gown of ivory silk faced peau de soie designed with a high lace neckline, tapered sleeves. The entire gown and cathedral train reembroidered Alencon lace. She wore a full-length veil of ivory illusion attached to baby roses and stephanotis and carried a bouquet of orchids, white roses and stephanotis. Beth Ward, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Gertrude Kraeger of Rochester, N.Y., and Mrs. David Krayenvenger of Adams Center, N.Y. They selected long sleeved floor-length dresses of evergreen Qiana and carried yellow and orange miniature carnations and rosebuds highlighted with baby’s breath. George M. Nicholson, Jr., of Kingston served as best man for his brother. Ushers were J. Colin Kresock of Longmeadow, Mass. ; Robert G. Edgerton Jr. of Forty Fort and Corey Zimmerman of Washington, D.C. A reception was held at the Hulbert House, Boonvill, N.Y. after which the couple left on a honeymoon to Florida. They will reside at 263 S. Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre. Mrs. Nicholson is a graduate of South Lewis High School and Ithaca College. She is a physical therapist employed by Home-Health Services, Wilkes-Barre. He keeps -well informed on civic matters and enjoys watching sports on TV or listening to the radio.
