The double ring
ceremony was performed
by Monsignor Francis A.
Kane who concelebrated
the Nuptial Mass with the
Rev. Thomas M. Jordan.
~The bride, escorted by
her father, wore a formal
satapeau gown, the entire
bodice of which was
Belgium lace with designs
traced in pearls, trimmed
with ruffled lace bib and a
ruffled lace Victorian
1eckline. The full sleeves
vere of matching lace
studded with pearls. The
»mpire a-line silhouette
vas completed with a deep
ace-flounced hemline
lowing into an attached
:athedral length train
nhanced with scattered
ace and pearl motifs.
Her matching lace
ieadpiece, studded with
earls, featured a circular,
ace-edged veil with
ratching pearl and lace
10tifs. She carried a
cascade bouquet of white
MR. & MRS. E.G. KEMMERER roses, miniature
carnations and baby’s
breath.
Marian Rosser, maid of
honor and cousin of the
bride, was attired in a
formal length gown of petal
pink voil, featuring a
matching short bolero
jacket accented with white
lace edging and capelet
sleeves of dotted swiss voil
in petal pink. The a-line
skirt ended in a flounce of
white lace and dotted swiss
voil. She wore a matching
pink straw picture hat with
white satin streamers and
carried a colonial bouquet
of white sweetheart roses,
pink daisies and baby’s
breath with matching
white steamers.
Bridesmaids were Ruth
Ann Nulton, sister-in-law of
the bride; Geralyn
Kemmerer, sister of the
bridegroom; Joyce Jolley;
and Sharon Mooney. They
wore gowns identical to the
maid of honor’s true blue
voil with matching blue
straw picture hats with
white satin streamers and
carried colonial bouquets
of white sweetheart roses,
blue daisies and baby’s
breath with matching
white streamers.
Linda Jean Pipan, flower
girl and cousin of the bride,
was attired identically to
the maid of honor in gown
and picture hat of petal
pink. She carried a white
straw basket filled with
pink sweetheart roses and
white daisies with
matching white streamers.

fashioned with a ruffled
round neckline and cape
sleeves. They wore large
length train was also of
lace. She wore a camelot
headpiece of matching lace
with a triple tier silk

daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

William B. Lamoreux, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer B.
Lamoreux, 9 W. Franklin
St., Shavertown, were
united in marriage June 28,
at 11:00 in Shavertown
Methodist Church. Rev.
Robert Dewitt Yost
performed the double ring
ceremony. Soloist was
Gloria Campbell.
The bride, given in
marriage by her father,
wore an A-line white silk
organza and chantilly lace
gown, + enhanced with
pearls. It was styled with a
scoop neckline, short cape
sleeves and empire bodice.
The detachable chapel
illusion veil. She also wore
matching lace glovelettes
and an antique cameo
necklace which belonged to
her grandmother. Her
gown was made and
designed by her mother.
She carried white roses
surrounded by white
carnations.
Mary Ann Warner was
matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Laura
Dymond, Dallas, cousin of
the bride, and Gail
Kashulon, Ashley, sister of
the bridegroom. Matron of
honor and bridesmaids
selected identical gowns of
pale blue dotted swiss print
white picture hats with
blue streamers and carried
bouquets of white
carnations and blue
daisies. Gowns were
fashioned by Barbara
Nekracz, Dallas.
Elmer Lamoreux, .Jr.,
Shavertown, brother of the
bridegroom was best man.
Ushers were Vincent
Kashulon, Ashley, brother-
in-law of the bridegroom
and Thomas Conti, Wilkes-
Barre.
For her daughter’s
wedding, Mrs. Dymond
selected a yellow polyester
short sleeve knit gown with

Paternal grandmother
was attired in a blue and

Immediately following
the ceremony a reception
was held at the CYC in
Tunkhannock.
Mrs. Lamoreux is a
graduate of Tunkhannock
High School, Bradford
Beauty Academy and owns
and operates her own
beauty shop in White Birch
Trailer Court, Dallas.
Mr. Lamoreux is a
graduate of Dallas High
School, Wilkes-Barre Data
Processing Center and is
employed in the Operations
Center of the First Eastern
Bank, Wilkes-Barre.
Mrs. Lamoreux was
feted at a shower at her
home given by her
attendants.
The groom’s parents
entertained the bridal
party at Castle Inn, Dallas,
following the rehearsal.
Following a trip to the
shore, the couple is
residing at 9 W. Franklin
St., Shavertown, Pa.

Peter nulton, brother of the
bride, was ring bearer.
Daniel Nulton, brother of
the bride, was best man.
Ushers were James Nulton
and Chrsitopher Nulton,
also brothers of the bride;
James Gerrity, cousin of
the bridegroom; and Mark
Kachmarsky.
The mother-of-the-bride
selected a formal length
blue gown, featuring a
hand-clipped chantilly lace
empire bodice and chiffon
skirt which flowed from a
satin waistband accented
with a cut-crystal
medallion.
The mother of the groom
chose a gown of polyester
crepe in yellow which
featured a fitted bodice
accented at the shoulder
with a short chiffon
embroidered cape.
The reception,
immediately following the
ceremony, was held at the
Irem Temple Country
Club.

High School,
and College

member of the Dallas
Junior High School faculty.
Mr. Kemmerer is a
graduate of Central
Catholic High School,
Kingston, and Philadelphia
College of Pharmacy and
Science. He is employed as
a pharmacist at Stapinski
Drugs in Edwardsville.
The couple was
entertained at an
engagement party given by
the bride’s parents at their
home. The bride was
honored at a dinner hosted
by her aunt, Bettie
Sullivan, at the Castle Inn.
She was also feted by the
Dallas Junior High School
women faculty at a dinner
held at Newberry Estates
and at a shower given by
her bridemaids. After
rehearsal, the groom’s
parents entertained at a
dinner at their home.
Following a wedding trip to
to the shore, the couple will
reside at 341 Machell Ave.,
Dallas.

A patriotic theme in
keeping in the Bi-
centennial, has been
chosen for this year’s
Commodore's Ball spon-
§ sored by the Lake Silk-
worth Protective
Association, this coming
Saturday night at
DeLuca’s Pavilion. The
ball will begin with dancing
to SOS at 9 p.m. and a
buffet lunch will be served
at 11.

The 62nd annual reunion
of the Crispell family will
be held on Sat. Aug. 9 at
Hansons Park, Harveys
Lake.
