Thomas Geffert and Andrew Gordo, Parrish Heights residents, also at- tended the meeting to voice opposition to the take over. Both Geffert and Gordo cited the invasion of their privacy as the reason for their op- Williams and Stucker based their desire for the takeover in what they said they saw as a need for improving the quality of the road and to allow the township to be responsible for snow removal. Parrish Heights residents that Solicitor Frank Townend would draw up a petition, with spaces for all _ residents whose property touched the proposed road and u-turn. The residents could circulate the petition and sign or not sign. Townend explained that it was not necessary that all residents sign the petition, but added the supervisors would probably work on an area were all the residents requested their help, rather than an area under dispute. Phil Walter, chairman of the supervisors, stated that he would rather see a unanimous request for a necessary if all residents with property access to the road did not sign off. The supervisors finally decided to’ have the petition drawn up by their solicitor and allow the residents to decide. If the take over is granted it will be for ‘‘a good dirt road.” with a U-turn. Announcement was also made at the meeting that a decision had not been reached as of the meeting date of the supervisors two court cases. The two cases were heard last month in the Luzerne County courts by Judge Richard Bigelow. One involves the supervisors ‘furlough’ of two police officers and the second is a request by a taxpayer, Ted Krohn, to have the list of delinquent sewer payments in the township made a part of the public record.
