The bride-elect is the daugh- ter of Howard W. Vange and Barbara B. Vange, of Seoul, Korea. Her father is executive vice president of General Motors Korea and vice presi- dent of General Motors Over- seas. Mr. Scranton is the son of Wil- liam W. Scranton, former Mary L. Scranton. The bride will wear a gown of white chiffon over ivory silk, with neckline and sleeves of silk with chiffon roses. Kimberly Vange will attend her sister as maid of honor. Peter K. Scranton, New Haven, Conn., will be his brother’s best man. Attending the couple infor- mally will be Susan and Rich- ard Wolf, New York City, sister and brother-in-law of the Vange, brothers of the bride. Both Ms. Vange and Mr. Scranton are members of the World Planning Executive Council, which oversees the operation of Maharishi Interna- tional University and 3,600 World Plan Centers for the teaching of transcendental meditation and the Science of Creative Intelligence. Ms. Vange is an international direc- tor of the organization’s Council for Asia. Educated in Europe, Ms. Vange attended San Francisco Art Institute. Mr. Scranton, former presi- dent and managing editor of Greenstreet News Company, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University. Following their wedding, the couple will depart for a skiing trip in Montana.
