WAR a Grace Sheldon, a senior at Dallas Senior High School, was one of 20 high school students selected from over 300 appli- cants nationwide to attend an extensive, multi-disciplinary science institute last summer. The five-week program was cosponsored by The National Science Foundation and Fern- bank Science Center, a nation- ally recognized education Atlanta, Ga. Under the direction of Fern- bank Science Center personnel, Grace and her classmates conducted most of their field and lab work in the vicinity of the Berry College Campus in Rome, Ga.
