Brownie Troop 623 Visits Fire Company Brownie Troop 623, Gate of Heaven School, visited the Dallas Fire Company, Main Street, ; Dallas, Oct. 9, during Fire iiyvention Week. Robe Besecker, assistant fire chief, gave a thorough demonstration on how a fire truck operates during a fire. He also explained the proper pro- cedure of escape should a fire occur in the home. The troop had many questions to ask, one being, ‘‘What would you do if the fire house caught on fire?” Mr. Besecker quickly answered, ‘‘Gall another fire department!’’ Brownie Troop 623 is led by Teresa Rutkoski, with Carol Fabian and Hedy McGraw, as- sistant leaders. The 12-month old canine turned in a total of 147!spoints, out of a possible 155, to take her - division of working dogs. She was in competition with about 12 other working dogs.
