5 HENRY PETERSON Henry Peterson 73, 42 Norton Ave., Dallas died March 3 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital following a short illness. He was born in Quincy, Mass. and was a graduate of Brown University. He had been a re- sident of Dallas for 35 years. He served as treasurer of the Sun- day School of the Dallas United Methodist Church; was pre- sident of the Dr. Henry M. Laing Fire Company for. 18 years, and was serving his third term as vice president at the time of his death. Prior to his retirement, he was a special agent for Spring- field Fire and Marine Insurance Co. and more recently Pennsyl- vania Millers Mutual Co., Wilkes-Barre. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church, Quincy, Mass. Mr. Peterson was also treasurer of the Back Mountain Memorial Library. He was a member of the Manent' Lodge, Free and Ac- cepted Masons, Quincy; Cald- well Consistory, Bloomsburg and Irem Temple, Dallas. Surviving are his’ wife, the former Helen Jeffery; daughter Bernard Zablocki, Newburgh, N.Y.; brother, Gor- don, Pine Beach, N.J.; sister, Mrs. T. H. Smith, Braintree, Mass.
