Chuck Samuels, son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Samuels, Leh- man Avenue, has returned from the hospital where he un- derwent surgery and is recuperating nicely. Chuck is one of Coach Jim Bamrick’s promising sophomores and is missed by his teammates in the jayvee meets. Mr. Newman is well known among Crown Imperial Bowlers, having been a member of the St. Pauls Brotherhood League for a number of years. Dr. and Mrs. Roger Owens have returned to their Machell Avenue home after vacationing in Florida. Mrs. George Weale, Columbia Avenue, Dallas, has returned home from Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, where she was a medical patient. Joseph T. Hazeltine, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald F. Hazeltine, 279 W. Center Hill Road, Dallas, was awarded membership in the Marquette University Naval ROTC Trident Honor Society in recent ceremonies at the University. He is in his second year at Marquette under the NROTC. Mr. and Mrs. William Hirsch Jr. were weekend guests of Mr. Hirsch’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Hirsch Sr., this past weekend. The Hirschs are former residents of the Back Mountain, now residing inthe Harrisburg area. The Dallas Senior High School is in its ‘20th year of driver education, instructing students in the fundamentals of driving techniques. They recently acquired a 1973 driver’s training car completely equipped with air conditioning, dual brake system, safety shut- off switch and othe features that add to safe operation and training.
