Florence Sherwood, choral director of Dallas Senior High School, has announced that Eric Martin, Dallas High School student, has been selected to represent the Dallas = Senior High School and the "North- eastern District of P.M.E A. at the National Music Educators Convention in Boston, Mass., Jan. 19 through 22. More than 50 school districts in Northeastern Pennsylvania participated in Regional Chorus auditions held at Dallas’ High School last February with only 16 students qualifying. From these 16 only nine were chosen. Montrose, Mountain View and Pocono Mountain School Districts have had young men selected. Young women have been selected from Bloom- sburg, Berwick and Lake- Lehman, Sixty two students will represent Pennsylvania in the 400-voice MENC All-Eastern Division Chorus comprised of students from Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massa- chusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.
