Youths who will be hunting in Pennsylvania for the first time this year are urged to take ad- vantage of the opportunity to take this training. In order to qualify for a Pennsylvania hunting license, a person under the age of 16 years must present either evidence that he held a hunting license in Pennsylvania or another state in a prior year or a certificate of competency showing that he has successfully completed a course of instruction in the safe handling of firearms and bows and arrows.
