Computerized Mail Services Inc., according to its president, Norman Sallitt, has developed, during the last two years, into one of the largest direct mail services in Eastern and Central Pennsylvania. The firm, based on Oxford Street in Wilkes- Barre, started with an average of one ton of mail per week and has grown to an estimated average of 120 tons of mail per week. In addition to Mr. Sallitt, the company is headed by Theron Solomon and Robert E. Post, of J.B. Post Co., Post Coach Inc., and Post Fuel Co. The organization, said Mr. Sallitt, currently handles such national and regional direct mail accounts as Towers Publications, North ‘American Publishers of Philadelphia, TV Time and Channel, Afternoon TV, Jewel-Cor Corp., Pennsyl- vania Mobile Home Associa- tion, and Litton Publications. The mailing firm holds over 100 mail permits for various clients throughout the nation, Mr. Sal- litt added. Working with a minimum staff of 30 employes, Mr. Sallitt continued, enables the company to run its direct mail services economically and efficiently | with the modern automated and | computerized equipment. The | research ‘and marketing ana-| lysis departments, directly re-| sponsible to the president and to executive vice president Theron Solomon, have made Computer- ized Mail ‘Services one of the most outstanding and efficient ‘growth’ companies in" the East. Mr. Solomon, commenting on the firm’s daily operation, said that the company has received | “extremely good’’ cooperation | from the Wilkes-Barre Post | Office.
