4A number of residents of
Midway Manor and Carverton
Heights voiced complaints
about snow removal during the
Thanksgiving holidays. One
suggested that ad-
ditional equipment be pur-
chased and extra help hired
during such storm emergen-
cies. Mr. Richards informed the
audience that Dallas Area
Municipal Authority volun-
teered the use of 3 pieces of
equipment, and was largely
responsible for getting Car-
verton Heights roads open.
Chairman Ed Hall said his
phone rang continuously, from
very early morning hours on-
ward, during the snowstorm
and that he was shocked at the
language used. ‘‘This was the
worse condition I’ve ever been
through,” he added.
