They left Philadelphia on a Standard Air Line Jet for Log Angeles, their first stop, where they spent four glorious days. They flew over the Grand Canyon and along the Colorado River, which was a great and wonderful thrill. Their pilot announced that they were from 38000 to 40,000 feet high, going 600 miles an hour. Out side of the plane it was 75 degrees below, which they could hardly be- lieve. They then spent three happy days in Hawaii, coming back by way of San Francisco. A never to be forgotten trip. Thirty First Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Holmgren, Fernbrook, celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary Saturday, June 15. Mrs. Holmgren was the former Mildred Rowe, Trucksville, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Rowe, Harris Hill Road. The couple had a very pretty home wed- ding.
