Last Wednesday was a day of
days for me. ' First my brother-in-
law’s brother, Fred Hawke and wife
Janet from Ashley, visited me and
we went out in the country and
bought and trimmed, get this,
thirty eight heads of cabbages, to |
make saur kraut. They really en-
joyed our country. Then Lucy
Morgan had dinner with me (by
prearrangement). Then my sister-
in-law Ollie Moore came for a short
visit — we live so close yet so far,
that we seldom visit in one an-
other's homes; daughter-in-law Hil-
da ran across the lot for a few
words with Lucy and Ollie. Just
after they left’ — a cousin and his |
wife, Paul and Althea Wehr from
Allentown, whom I had not seen:
in over twenty years —sought and
found me. What a pleasant day.
