She will be buried in the family plot in Bennington, Vermont. Her parents were Patrick and Margaret Kane. Young Bridget A. Kane, with her brother Michael, came to this country from Ireland in 1885. Her husband Dennis died many years ago. For a time she made her home with Mrs. Ferry in Dallas. When ill health crept up on her she moved to Falls Church, to make her home with another daughter, Mrs. Mar- garet Bruns, RN, and her grand- daughter. She was “Nana” to the small children of the neighborhood. She leaves in adition to her two daughters and her grand-daughter Joan Evans, a sister, Mrs. Harry Russell, Bennington, Vt. There are eight grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren. Services Saturday For Mrs. Elizabeth Kelley Mrs. Elizabeth Kelley, 86, died Wednesday morning in Johnson City,, where she had lived for a number of years. Services will be conducted from the Disque Funeral Home Saturday morning at 11, followed by burial in the family plot. Friends may call Friday afternoon or evening. Native of Lynnville, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Sawyer, she moved to Center Moreland upon marriage to William Kelley. Mr. Kelley was tax collector for some years. He died in 1947. Mrs. Kelley belonged to Center Moreland Baptist Church. She leaves these children: How- ard, of Scranton: Brisbin, Mrs. Lloyd ' Ellsworth, Glenn, and Wil- liam, all of Johnson City; Mrs. Charles Kishbaugh, Forty Fort; Mrs. Walter DeRemer, Center Moreland. Services Friday For Stephen Lawrence Sr. Services for Stephen J. Lawrence Sr, Lehman, are scheduled for Fri- day morning from a funeral home at 269 Bennett Street Luzerne, where friends may call this evening. A Mass of Requiem will be cele- brated Friday morning at 9:30 from Gate of Heaven. Mr. Lawrence, 71, suffered a fatal attack of anthrosilicosis searly Tues- day evening, was transported to Mercy Hospital in the Lehman Am- bulance, and pronounced dead on arrival at 7:01, He had experienced attack in Church five months ago. A Swoyersville native and res- ident, he had worked in the Dor- rance Colliery, retiring 11 years ago. He belonged to Gate of Heaven ' Church. A brother Andrew was killed in World War I, and a son Leonard was killed on the same date in World War II. Swoyersville Amer- ican Legion Post is named in honor of Andrew.
