Traveling by jet, she will fly from New York to San Francisco and then on to Tokyo, stopping briefly in Honolulu. v Mrs. Elston is making the trip to the Orient while her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mis. Thomas Elston, ‘are temporarily sta- ttioned in Japan. Mr. Elston is associated with the Combustion Engineering Firm of New York. This is his third trip out of the country on business. He was sent to the Orient in March of last year and expects to return to the States in the fall. Mrs. Elston, who is a retired teacher, hopes to include Hongkong on her agenda while in that part of the world. Tours New York City Among the group who recently toured New York City by bus were Mrs. Russell Lawry, Mrs. Leslie Warhola and Mrs. Thomas Dicken- son, Dallas. They saw the Easter Pageant at Radio’ City, and the new television series ‘Jeopardy’, to begin soon. They enjoyed many - points of interest and had a lovely dinner ‘at Patricia Murphy’s. Pat, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kanasky of Oak Hill, is an honor student, member of the National Honor Society and active in many clubs, particularly pertaining to high school publications. Mrs. Charles Williams, President, presided at the business meeting at which time a Nominating Commit- tee was elected to present names of officers for the ensuing two years.
