Mrs. Mary Anderson, 83
On Tuesday Has Party
Mrs. Mary Anderson, patient at
Carpenter Nursing Home observed
her 83rd birthday on Tuesday.
Mrs. Anderson had been a resi-
dent of Wilkes-Barre since child-
hood and is the widow of the late
Oscar Anderson.
Her family were on hand to cele-
brate the occasion and a large birth-
day cake was served to other resi-
dents at the home.
Present were Mr. and Mrs. Walter
Anderson, Wilkes-Barre; Mr. and
Mrs. Frederic Anderson, Fred Jr,
and Susie, Shavertown, grand-
children. .
Another grandchild, Albert An-
derson, lives in Taylor, S. Carolina
and was unable to attend. There
are two great: grandchildren, Lynn
and Alison Anderson, also of Seuth
Carolina.
To Hold Spaghetti
Dinner Tonight
Altar and Rosary Society of
Lady of Victory Church, Harvey's
Lake will hold its annual Spa-
ghetti Supper this evening.
Serving will begin at 5 pm. and
continue until 9, on the lawn of
the Queen of Peace Rectory, Sandy
Bottom.
Mrs. Lois Cadwallader, president-
is assisted’ by Mrs. Julia Okze-
chowaski.
Tickets may be purchased from
any member or on the grounds.

Dallas Res‘dents Now
Stationed In Germany
Major and Mrs. Harry Stoughton,
Rick and Mark, formerly of Dallas,
have been transferred to Baben-
hausen, Germany, where Major
Stoughton is stationed with the
U.-S. Army.
Stoughton was recently promoted
to his present rank, He is the son
of Mrs. Edna Stoughton, Eley
Street, Kingston and the late L. E.
Stoughton.
Fossedals Leave Area
Move To Tonawanda
Ent Mr. and Mrs. Donald Fossedal
and Gregg, have moved from Bald-
win Street, Dallas, to a new home
in Tonawanda, N. Y., near Buffalo.
Mr. Fossedal has been promoted
to Sales Assistant for the Buffalo
region of Glen Mills.
Mrs. Fossedal will teach Spanish
1, 2 and 3 at Chocktowago High
School.
Their son Gregg is four years of
age.
