SECTION A — PAGE 4 Mrs. Mary Anderson, 83 On Tuesday Has Party Mrs. Mary Anderson, patient at Carpenter Nursing Home observed her 83rd birthday on Tuesday. Mrs. Anderson had been a resi- dent of Wilkes-Barre since child- hood and is the widow of the late Oscar Anderson. Her family were on hand to cele- brate the occasion and a large birth- day cake was served to other resi- dents at the home. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Anderson, Wilkes-Barre; Mr. and Mrs. Frederic Anderson, Fred Jr, and Susie, Shavertown, grand- children. . Another grandchild, Albert An- derson, lives in Taylor, S. Carolina and was unable to attend. There are two great: grandchildren, Lynn and Alison Anderson, also of Seuth Carolina.
