WRENS IN CLOTHES BAG
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sher-
weod and children, Denise and
Scott, of ‘Sherwood Forest’ are
visited by an assortment at
their bird feeder all year long.
Several days ago while hanging
up her wash, Mrs. Sherwood
reached into her clothes pin
bag hanging on the clothes line
outside a kitchen door and
found that ‘Jenny Wren’ had
built a mest and laid five eggs.
Three wrens have hatched and
the mother sits unafraid in the
nest while Mrs. Sherwood
hangs out her clothes. The
Sherwoods’ are trying to figure
out how ‘mother wren’ is going.
to get her little ones out of the
bag to teach them to fly.
Congratulations to Mrs. Mary
Pudimott who celebrated her birth-
day July 25. Her son William will

team. At present there is a 3-way
tie between Jackson-Lehman-Dallas
and Fernbrook. And even further
back and almost totally ignored are
the small kids who are trying hard
to make the Farm Teams!
Congratulations to Mrs. Sterling

Linda, who celebrated her four-
teenth July 26. |
