also had a hot bat rapping two hits
and scoring twice for the victors.
~ Jenkins and Long stopped Dallas
Ar
with only two runs and five hits.
Westmoreland rallied in the first
‘of Dallas starter Farley for six runs
which proved too much for the
Dallas team to overcome. West-
moreland scored two more in the
~ second on doubles by Jenkins and
Letts.
Dallas couldn’t get anything go-
ing until the third inning when a
double by Frey and a single by Hu-
dak engendered their initial run.
Dallas scored again in the fourth on
a single by Tounsend followed with
a double by Wagner.
Hudak was the only Dallas
swinger able to solve the slants of
Westmoreland pitchers.

Shavertown Edges Trucksville
Shavertown defeated Trucksville
in a nip and tuck game by a score
of 7 to 6. Both teams played good
ball and were hot on the offensive
end.
Shavertown garnered ten hits
with Swingle leading his team with
Nicol and Monte also
had two hits each for the victors.
Monte’s double in the fourth
knocked in two runs which ' sent
Shavertown into the lead.
Williams led Trucksville’'s seven-
hit attack with four infield singles
which can be attributed to his
speed. Williams crossed the plate
three times and died on first in the
last inning.
* Nicol went all the way for the
victors while Germick and Rodgers
shared the mound duties for Trucks-
ville.
