Both teams played good ball and were hot on the offensive end. Shavertown garnered ten hits with Swingle leading his team with Nicol and Monte also had two hits each for the victors. Monte’s double in the fourth knocked in two runs which ' sent Shavertown into the lead. Williams led Trucksville’'s seven- hit attack with four infield singles which can be attributed to his speed.
